Video of this 1988 Porsche 944 Lux cold start and walk around. We have for sale this 1988 Porsche 944 Lux. The engine sounds lovely and it can be enjoyed as a daily driver. Service history and booklet included. All work carried out by Porsche Specialists. In Guards Red - It has Porsche's own 2.5liter four cylinder engine. Porsche tested the first of these engines in their 924 GTP in the 24 hour Le Mans race in 1981. This camouflaged 944 completed the 24 hours with just 21 fuel pit stops and without any technical issues, finishing seventh overall.
This four cylinder engine sounds lovely and starts the first time, every time.

Major Service including a general inspection of the vehicle, oil and filter change, spark plug replacement, air filter replacement, lights, levels and tyre pressures.
Replaced ABS pump with a "new" second hand ABS pump and carried out a brake fluid change.
Replaced Cambelt, Balance belt, roller idler bearings, water pump, time engine back up, replaced coolant tank whilst coolant system empty, refill coolant.
Stripped and cleaned, greased all four brakes.
Replaced all four brake pad wear sensors.
Replaced front tyres with New Khumos and balanced all four wheels.
Front wheel alignment
Replaced wiper blades.
Replaced bonnet and boot lid rams.
Replaced air hose for alternator cooling duct.
Replaced left front headlight motor, clips and bulb.
Replaced left front fog light unit.
Replaced reverse light switch.
Repaired interior dash clock.
Replaced battery with new.
Replaced drivers seat switches and get passenger seat switches working.

The car presents well and turns heads but it is a nearly 40 years old and has been used. The passenger seat's cloth has started to rip due to age and the lacquer is peeling in some places. The dash clock is working and my favorite feature on the dash. It is a solid car and drives well with no vibration in the steering wheel when cruising on the motorway.
